Following the controversial lack of police vehicles and equipment, the Policia Local have just been presented with a new patrol car.

Present at the handing over with the Mayor, Gonzalo Fernández Pulido, was the Chief Sub-Inspector, Alberto Sánchez, who was informed that another new patrol car would be heading their way at the beginning of 2015.

But it seems that the municipal police are to be ‘spoilt’ even further because the police station will have some work done on it, too.

On a completely different note, driving along the seafront road this morning, the accumulated rainwater, even though the rainfall had not been heavy, demonstrates that this problem persists.

Editorial Comment: One wonders whether such sudden alacrity would have come about had a policeman not been run over last week…
