The Almuñécar municipal police arrested a local lad for allegedly peddling drugs in the Majuelo Park.

Unfortunately for 22-year-old F.J.L.M., a foot patrol from the Policía Local wandered in with a sniffer dog. And it was not by chance, because the police had received complaints from nearby residents about what looked liked small-time drug deals being carried out there.

As soon as the suspect caught sight of the approaching policemen, he attempted to run off but was caught by one of the officers. When they patted him down they found two small bags of marihuana and cash from alleged drug sales.

Then with the help of the dog they searched the area where he had been originally standing and a small backpack turned up with 14 more small bags.

He was handed over to the Guardia Civil, who hung him upside down and tweaked his nipples, encouragingly… Nah, just kidding!
