The Policía Nacional based in Motril arrested five people in connection with a sizable drug plantation under plastic in Salobreña.

Four men and one woman now stand accused of cultivating 576 Cannabis Sativa plants; i.e. marihuana.

The Motril police had been investigating the rumour that several people were involved in a greenhouse plantation full of marihuana somewhere in the municipality of Salobreña. They finally located the plantation. However they did not included the exact location in their press release.

The police also confiscated a shotgun and two vehicles in the raid.
