What better time to hold up traffic on a main coastal main road than the middle of August!

The Ministerio de Fomento, perhaps conscious of the proximity of looming elections, decided that the N-340 at the main junction of La Herradura needed sprucing up, bless their cotton socks.

The work, which couldn’t possible wait, consisted of laying reinforced cement along the verge of the road for better drainage.

The same activity has already been carried out near Urb. San Nicolás and will continue on other parts of the N-340 in La Herradura and Almuñécar.
