A left-wing party in Motril has demanded the withdrawal of poster that announces an imminent football championship in Torrenueva.

The said party considers the competition poster to be “sexist” and a “little appropriate.”

What seems to have irked this left-wing party was the fact that the female football player was in a bikini with a ball against her breasts (imagine a football player stopping a ball with his chest – that is the posture).

The First Councillor of Torrenueva does not share the IU councillor’s opinion and has refused to have the posters removed.

Editorial Comment: One wonders what the opinion of the female football players are, yet mere mortals can’t be trusted with the interpretation of what is sexist or not, which is why party spokespersons need to decide for them.
