It seems that all we ever do, as far as La Herradura goes, is report street works, so now for something completely different; more street works!
It’s the turn of Calle Sauce, which is the one that connects Camino Real to the Rambla del Espinar. The idea is to give it a pavement or sidewalk.
Running down the side of the said street is a small gully known as the Barranco Rufino, which runs into the main one (Espinar). The said roadworks include putting a fence down the street to stop people falling into it… or trying to escape from it.
Twelve thousand joyous euros are being spent on this enterprise.
