Two people have been arrested in Marbella after a young British man fell five floors from a 4-star-hotel balcony.

The 25-year old is in the ICU of the main provincial hospital in Málaga, where he lies sedated and on a life-support machine.

However, the police are investigating whether he fell or ‘was helped;’ hence the two arrests, because the latter appears to be becoming the stronger of the two hypothesis.

The two arrested persons are friends of the victim; both British.

The incident occurred around 20.00h, Saturday the 7th, when the man plummeted to the ground, sowing panic amongst the hotel guests below. The victim had booked in the previous day with a friend of a similar age.
