A paraglider pilot was taken to Motril hospital after he lost control of his motorized apparatus and collided with a lamppost. The incident occurred in the beach area of Motril.

According to the emergency services the incident happened at 16.15h when for reasons unknown he lost control, hit the lamppost on Playa Poniente and became entangled on it.

He was taken to hospital with multiple injuries.
