The Nerja, juniors, volleyball team for girls was proclaimed Andalusian Champions and category. This means that the team will go on to play in the national championships, which will be held in Barcelona on the 22nd of this month.

The Nerja team won the regional championships after defeating the Huelva team by 3 – 0, the Almería team by 3 – 2 and the Córdoba team by 3 – 0. In other words, they “kicked ass.”

The Nerja Councillor for Sport, José Alberto Tomé, congratulated the players and the trainers, pointing out that not only did Nerja have the best team, but that Nerjareña, Ana Muñozha was also chosen as ‘Best Player.’
