As part of the International Book Day the Councillor for Education and Culture, Gema Garcia, thought that it was a good idea show young kids what a library is – the younger they are initiated into book culture; the better.

With this in mind, during this week 3-year olds from the infant schools in Nerja have given a visit to the municipal library, to receive a talk (adapted to their level of comprehension) about the library and what its for. Of course, there were fun activities, as well, organized by the monitor, Estrella Rebollo.

This age group is just the first batch, because kiddies from first grade up to sixth grade will have their chance, too.
