The Mayor, Luisa García Chamorro, accompanied by a cluster of councillors, signed three accords with this international supermarket chain.
The Mayor thanked Al Campo Branch Manager, Rafael Tristán for his generous collaboration, “Today we have signed three agreements covering education, culture and social action, as well as diverse equipment and material for the municipal network of social-service dependencies. The private entity collaboration is important for the Town Hall so that we can improve social welfare of Motril residents,” she explained.
Sr Rafael Tristán expressed, “for Al Campo it is a pleasure to be able to contribute to these important areas of municipal services, as our aim is to collaborate in the social area where it is most needed.”
So, Ladies and Gentlemen, next time you do your shopping there instead of the smaller businesses around town, you have the knowledge that in an indirect way you are helping to maintain the social welfare network in Motril and not just spending your money in the aisles of a international supermarket chain.
