As of the 28th of this month, vehicle access to the Almuñécar, Town Hall Square (Plaza de la Constitución) will be regulated by a retractable post.

The said device, which is at the top of the slope, is accompanied by CCTV, so that the Policía Local can keep an eye on it, as well as visibly verifying the information given by those that ring to have the post lowered. There is also a notice board giving information on access times, etc.

The telephone control is situated in the town-hall building, which will be switched to the local police station out of hours. The number is 958 838 600.

Access times for delivery vehicles between the 1st of October and the 31st of May will be Monday to Friday, 08.00h to 10.00h & 15.00h to 17.00h. During the rest of the year; i.e., the summer months, the morning times remain the same but the afternoon times shift to a later margin between 17.00h and 19.00h. On Saturdays during the whole year only the morning slot will be available.
