The Almuñécar Policía Local recovered a zodiac dingy on the Playa de Cabria, they believe that it was used on a drug run.

It’s a 14m-long craft, equipped with outboard motors of 250 CV each. It also has a GPS system onboard. There was no cargo but there were the remains of somebody’s meal, of Moroccan style.

According to the Policía Local, once they came across it, they informed the Guardia Civil, who towed it away to Motril port where it was impounded, pending investigation.

According to the same source in the local police, within a few hours of the discovery of the zodiac, a person turned up at the local police station to reclaim it as its owner. The said person was form La Línea de la Concepción, Cadiz. He claimed that it had been stolen.
