The Almuñécar Town Hall has set down the rules and conditions for the selection of the official poster for the next Andrés Segovia Classical Guitar Competition in La Herradura.

The winning poster designer will received a 500-euro cash prize, as well as the honour of having their work selected for this prestigious, annual competition. All entrants must submit their work before 12.00h on the 15th of February 2013.

All submissions – and anybody can compete – must be original and unpublished. The type of design is ‘freestyle;’ pictorial, collage, photographic composition, vectorial illustration etc, but under no circumstances will images or photographs of other authors be accepted – it must be entirely your own work.

The actual size specifications for the poster for the XXIX Certamen de Guitarra will be vertical (in other words portrait; not landscape format) 30 cm by 42 cm. It must be presented on a cardboard backing (37 x 47 cm) and must not have a frame or glass covering.

The poster must contain the following words in a prominent format: XXIX Certamen Internacional de Guitarra Clásica Andrés Segovia. XXV Concurso de Composición. Del 19 al 23 de noviembre de 2013. Conmemoración del Centenario del nacimiento de Maurice Ohana (1913-1992), del 50 Aniversario de la muerte de SALVADOR BACARISSE (1898-1963) y del 25 Aniversario del CONCURSO DE COMPOSICIÓN “ANDRÉS SEGOVIA”

Also, the Town Hall can include any other logotype on the poster, which must be taken into account – space made available, we imagine.
