A net total of 235,375 million euros has left the country from January 2012 to July, according to the Bank of Spain records. This is the highest figure since the register has been in existence.
This figure is all the more alarming when you compare it to the same period of 2011, which gave a positive balance 17,689.3 million euros. By the end of 2011, the was a net loss of 68,299.1 million euros.
On a brighter side… the July 2012 figures was better than the preceding months because Spain ‘only’ lost 15,030.3 million euros, which was far below the June figure, which was 56,631.5 million euros.
