Did you know that Playa Burriana is recognised as one of the best in Spain? Well, that is according to the Crecer Feliz magazine.

In issue number 287 it will publish a report entitled, Menudas Playas (Kiddie Beaches). This report takes in 14 beaches right around Spain, three of which correspond to Andalucía, judging them all on the suitability for families. Anyway, one of the Andalusian beaches chosen was Burriana, taking into account its kiddies-play-park facilities as well as other services, such as the Biblioplaya (Beach Library), which has stories and toys for children. They also took into account the proximity of hotels for families and nature spots.

The Councillor for Beaches, Sandra Jimena, has expressed her satisfaction for this new accolade, saying that it gives a greater impulse to continue striving for better beaches.
