School Children from La Herradura put on an art exhibition centred upon the shipwreck of 1562 in the village’s bay. The First Councillor for La Herradura, Juan José Ruiz Joya,  Councillor for Education & Culture, Olga Ruano Jadraque and the schoolteacher/writer Gabriel Sierra Santos, were all present at the inauguration.

This exposition is part of the 450th anniversary year, which will conclude in October on the actual anniversary of this tragic maritime event.

The exhibition is on view at the castle until the 30th of June, open to visits both mornings (10.00h – 13.00h) and afternoons (17.00h – 20.00h)
