Tickets are now available on the Internet for the summer concert in the municipal football stadium, where the 70’s pop group, Boney M will perform.

The Councillor for Fiestas and Institutional Relations, María del Mar Medina, together with the concert promoter, Henrik Andersen of Casa Eventos, announced that entrance tickets would cost between 30 and 70 euros depending on the seating location.

The legendary band who achieved global recognition and almost instant fame in the music industry with songs like Daddy Cool, Rivers of Babylon, Ma Baker, Sunny or Rasputin, many of which won them gold and platinum discs – will offer this one-off concert in Almuñécar on the 28th of July.

Frank Farian, the German producer who founded the legendary band back in the 70s is behind the production of this spectacular concert. Liz Mitchell, Boney M’s leading singer, says that she is excited to come to Almuñécar.

Mitchell and Farian understand there are quite a few bands using the name Boney M around the world that have nothing or very little to do with the original band.  This is due to the fact that back when the band was formed, nobody cared about copyrighting names. Today, however, they want everyone to understand that the band who will give a unique concert on the football field in Almuñécar on the 28th of July will be the one and only, the real Boney M.
