A 26-year-old man was arrested by the Guardia Civil for alleged fraud, involving an 80-year-old woman in Monachil.

Apparently, he convinced her that she had to pay a bill for 600 euros for repair work, which in reality he had never carried out… bless him.

The man had turned up at the door of the elderly lady, together with an accomplice, masquerading as bona-fide employees of a Málaga-based, gas-installation company.
