The Policía Nacional have arrested three Romanians in La Herradura as alleged members of a forgery network, dealing in forged bank notes and identity documents.

The police raid was ordered by a law court in Málaga, under the orders of a police sub-inspector in Madrid. In the village, two dwellings were raided, where incriminating evidence was found and two men and a woman were arrested.

Naturally, the events of the day soon had the village buzzing, mainly because the Policia Nacional vans and patrol cars turned up during the morning and were present well into the afternoon, so there were plenty of “witnesses.”
