Almunecar Miffed

The Almunequeros were not impressed when it became generally known that the La Herradura blue zones had been lifted, whereas the Almunecar ones hadn’t.

The Seaside Gazettes very own Nicola Westby will be running 14km in the Almuñécar road race on Sunday 2nd October. She will be running for the Almuñécar Cancer Charity the AECC with her own two children Lottie (14) and Alex (12).

Lanjaron Wants a Morgue

(Lanjaron, Alpujarra) The Mayor of Lanjaron has formally requested help from the Chairman of the Provincial Council, Sebastian Perez (PP) for a municipal tanatorio (morgue). The Chairman had been visiting both Lanjaron and Carataunas, both of which have PP mayors.
