Last Chance Mirador

To say that it is the end of an era would be an understatement, as we bid farewell to Kevin and Alix after nine successful years providing top food at the beautiful location know as the Mirador del Cerro Grodo, just outside La Herradura.

Delightful D’Carmen

Fusion cuisine with elements of traditional and Mediterranean dishes, which is very much in vogue amongst the new Andalusian chefs, which one would expect from the latest Almuñécar restaurant venture in C/Livry Gargan, opposite the old post office.

Interiorismo

I am sure many of you will be aware of Dawn Crosbie of Interiorismo, who is renowned for creating homes and interiors that are not only beautifully stylish but also always comfortable places to be in.

Canine Landmines

The Izquierda Unida is asking for measures to be taken against dog owners that allow their pets to litter pavements with their excrement.

La Herradura Blue Zones Deactivated

The new municipal administration has deactivated the Paseo de Andres Segovia blue zones, putting covers on all of the meters so that visitor can’t, unwittingly and needlessly, insert coins.

Castle Moat A Mess

A Month for the Ladies

Mª del Carmen Reinoso, who is the Councillor for Social Welfare and [sexual] Equality has announced that September will be a month of activities and workshops, thanks to the Centro Municipal de Información de la Mujer.

Late Summer Laureles

We’ve been hearing some very good things about Mark’s Thursday Seafood Special. In fact, it has been such a success that he is going to continue the menu through September. So, if you missed out on this super seafood special, don’t despair and get your lobster loving lips up to Los Laureles during September for your last chance to scoff a scallop, crack a crab or even lick a lobster!

Vuestra Value

Vuestra Casa has been delivering top quality kitchens, windows and refurbs for quite some time now. The thing is, how does Nico manage to supply such high-end quality without charging the proverbial arm and a leg?
