Internet users in Spain are receiving mysterious NYC parking fines. New York State Police are warning people of yet another fake parking ticket scam. The state’s computer crimes unit says a spam message is popping up in people’s email in-boxes, claiming to be a traffic ticket.

They say the email subject line may contain the title “Uniform traffic ticket.” It asks the recipient to open the file, fill it out, and send it to a town court. The file has an unknown virus attached to it.

Police warn anyone who receives this email message to delete it, and do not forward it back to police.
