Shoppaholics rejoice as the Salobreña night-market opens it’s stalls for business this month, a week later than usual due to the San Juan festivities falling midweek. Vendors will trade until the 4th of September and the market can be found in its usual spot during evening hours.
As for our regular daytime market, they seem to be playing a game of musical market stalls, and are once again reshuffling back to Calle Miguel Hernández. After moving a while ago due to road works on the Calle Fábrica Nueva, the vendors complained at lack of customers and returned to their usual spot. There has since been another change of heart however, as too much dust, from aforementioned road works, has been affecting trade, and the market stalls will once again have to make do with the temporary spot behind the town hall until works are completed
