Speaking of tapas, how could I, so far, forget to mention the hugely successful Tapas Fair held in the old town of Salobreña last month. Celebrating its tenth year and organised by the Residents Association of the Old Town, the event was a little special this year. For the first time organisers decided to try and put paid to the idea that the old town is just for residents, and invited other residents’ associations to participate. They still managed to scrape home with the winning tapas however, a yummy Rabbit of Salobreña that impressed all the Judges.

We were staying in Salobrena when the Fair was on (we are regular visitors) and had an excellent time. The food and entertainment was brilliant.
