Padul Wetlands

There are two wetlands in the province of Granada that stick out for their health and they are the Laguna de Padul and La Charca de Suárez in Motril.

The Cerro del Torro Mines

This Motril tourist attraction was opened to the public three years ago, before closing down again owing to instability of the mine shafts. And so it has remained owing to a lack of public funds.

Wetlands Stroll

Padul is home to the most important wetlands in the southeast of Spain. Most people don’t know – not even the locals – that it exists, in spite of it covering 300,000 hectares.
