Water Protest in Almuñécar

Well over a hundred farmers belonging to the various irrigation associations in Almuñécar turned out to protest in the Town Hall Square. Some sources put the turn out as “several hundred.”

Retractable Post to Restrict Access

The final touches to the new look of the Cuesta de la Iglesia, in Almuñécar are close to hand. The metal planters, sporting trees/bushes and flowers are in place, but the last item might not please everybody; an automatic traffic barrier; or better said, a retractable post.

End To Permit Cavalry

The Almuñécar Town Hall has finally fixed the delivery times permitted in the Plaza de la Constitucíon, more commonly known as the Town Hall Square amongst foreign residents.

The wind and rain made short work of the market stalls in the town-hall square, which is a pity, as it is a good festive idea.
