It doesn’t matter that the locals say that it isn’t deadly, unless you’re very young, old or have a weak heart; it’s a bloody scorpion! Dutch Minors Go on the Rampage

Five Dutch youngsters have been arrested for allegedly vandalizing street accessories (benches & litter bins etc) in Motril. Locals alerted the police to say that the youths, four of whom were minors, were damaging litter bins and emptying the contents onto the paseo.

The extensive work that has been taking place on the hillside behind and above the Marina del Este has concluded. All told 30 shafts have been sunk to drain off underground water within the hillside.

A holidaymaker from Cordoba literally bumped into a package of hashish whilst out swimming off Punta de la Mona, La Herradura. The drugs; 40 kg of hashish pellets, were wrapped in raffia sacking.
