Small Yacht Runs Aground

Saturday saw a small yacht washed up onto a beach near La Rábita, despite a calm sea state but the wind from the east, although not strong, caught the skipper out.

Associations Day Meeting

There was a meeting in the Almuñécar Town Hall of all the clubs and associations that intend to take part in the Encuentro de Asociaciones, which will take place on the 31st of May in the Majuelo Park.

The Mancomunidad del Valle de Lecrín has begun the refuse collection of organic waste, which residents should leave in the brown bins clearly marked, orgánica.

Fly-Tipping Clean Up

The Urban Quality & Circular Economy Department at Salobreña Town Hall started a clean-up campaign last month to eliminate the ‘black spots’ in town and its surroundings where there has been fly tipping.
