A woman in her late 20s died in Dúrcal early Saturday morning when her car left the road.

The 28-year-old victim, Dori was from Padul and was a waitress Atalaya in Nigüelas and had also worked in Alqueria de Los Lentos several years ago, amongst other places.

It was a little before 01.30h that the emergency coordination centre, 112 received an alert, to say that a car had left the road and turned over. She had been driving on the service road running next to the N-323, heading in the Padul direction.

The caller said that there was an injured person trapped within the upturned car. The centre called out the fire service, the Guardia Civil, the Policía Local and a 061 ambulance.

The paramedics confirmed that the woman had died at the scene of the accident.
