Latest Motril Fire Intentional?

The Mayor of Motril has expressed her concern that the fire that broke out a few days ago might have been intentional. The Motril fire service says that they have reasons to believe this hypothesis.

Caleta Cranes Taken Down

Salobreña has at last acted and is taking down the construction cranes in La Caleta. The Town Hall has not been able to act before hand because of legal restrictions; they had to give the owners of the two cranes a period of time to act themselves.

Almuñécar Reduces Debt

Well, it appears that Almuñécar has clawed back four million euros from its debt, after putting to bed the 2012 budget year. The debt at the close of 2011 stood at 42,193,097 euros, whereas at the close of 2012 it had been reduced to 39,228,923 euros.

Volkswagens from all over Andalucía, Murcia and Alicante turned up for this classic VW Beetle & Microbus meet in La Herradura on the 10th. The organisers, Club VW Granada, registered 42 such vehicles in the village with a total of 76 people participating.
