Armilla Hindus Annoyed

AND Hindu Resentment OnLThe Hindu commune in Armilla, Granada, feels that they are being treated as if they were terrorists.

Ever since their guru was acquitted of allegedly using collective coercive techniques to brainwash members into work conditions bordering on slavery a year ago, the community (Vaidika Partisana Sangha) feels that there is an active campaign to blacken their name.

The Vice-President of the commune, Tara Shakti Chaitanya, gave a press conference to underline the “absolutely licit beliefs” of their members, who practice a religion that is thousands of years old – arguably the oldest existing religion in the world.

“Our Master’s teachings say that one should negotiate three times for a battle, which is what we have done, before beginning to defend ourselves,” she said.

During the four years that the court case dragged on, she says, their members were constantly insulted and even stoned on one occasion; i.e., had stones thrown at them. In short, they have suffered and endured.

Accordingly, on the 2nd of April they had a community ‘open day’ from ten in the morning until ten at night, at their yoga school on Calle Recogidas, in the city centre, so that everybody could see for themselves what their activities are.
