Bronco Down A Barranco

One driver suffered a a traumatic experience two days ago in Torrecuevas, Almuñécar, after his vehicle left the road and hurtled down a steep barranco.

Despite the ‘bronco ride,’ the 70-year-old man managed to get out of the car on his own two feet, surprising everybody, including himself.

He was a bit battered, suffering bruised ribs and a nasty one on his knee, but apart from that, he survived unscathed. Taking no chances, he was taken to the sports stadium by ambulance to where a helicopter was waiting to fly him to hospital in Granada to be on the safe side.

Not much else is known about the incident; how he came to take that particular short cut to the bottom of a barranco, nor his name and other personal details.
