Sunday’s Gualchos Walk

The Almuñécar Sports Department has an interesting walk organised for this Sunday, the 11th, taking in Civil War trenches.

Yesterday was the last day for the temporary vaccination facilities in Almuñécar’s municipal stadium, with 90% of the population now fully vaccinated

Anybody over 12 years of age who has not been vaccinated can attend a mass vaccination session in Almuñécar on Friday the 10th.

From now until 13.30h they will be vaccinating children of over-12s and above at the municipal sports stadium in Almuñécar this morning.

The majority of Almuñequeros have now received both jabs (54.4%) which equal to 13,670 people and there are another 4,178 with one jab.

All those born between 1952 and 1981 (inclusive) who have still not received an appointment for a jab will be inoculated on Monday in Almuñécar.

The Mayor of Salobreña, María Eugenia Rufino, urges all of those notified to attend to the mass Covid-19 testing session taking place tomorrow.

The Almuñécar sports stadium, Francisco Bonet is hosting for a second week mass vaccination sessions for people between 73 and 79.

The residents of Almuñécar and La Herradura are being called to attending vaccination appointments at municipal stadium, Francisco Bonet.

Both Infocostatropical and the Ideal newspaper’s online edition have reported on a 3-year-old toddler in a swimming-pool accident in Almuñécar.
