This road detour might have disappeared by the time that you read this, but given that roadworks are carried out at the speed of a stricking sloth with the reactions of a dead rattlesnake, perhaps not…

The Lecrín Town Council warned that there are roadworks going on affecting access to Mondújar from the autovía because they are building a roundabout to replace the T-junction there.
For this reason, drivers wanting to access Mondújar from the autovía will not be able to use the usual entrance directly. To reach the municipality, they must continue to the next autovía entrance, make a U-turn, and return to access Mondújar.
Mayor Pedro Titos considers that, “This is not a major disruption; it is simply that the direct entrance to Mondújar cannot be used and a small detour is necessary.” Well, that’s OK then!
He asks for drivers to follow the detour signs. He could have added, “Don’t panic!”
