Today the Town Hall will finally open the whole of the Paseo de las Explanadas to the public after months of building & gardening work and delays.
The last delay was caused by between 300 and 400 defective paving tiles of the 24,000 used, which when inspected were cracked after being only recently laid down.

The Town Council had already had problems with the grass banks, which were patchier than a 17-year-old’s beard.
Finally, with the paving tiles replaced, the Town Hall received the works; i.e., signed them off, last Friday and announced that the paseo would be open to all today, Tuesday the 23rd, or if you prefer, on the Eve of San Juan.
