There was a road accident in Motril yesterday morning involving three vehicles near Consum supermarket just off Travesia Manuel Peña Alta.

The emergency Coordination centre, 112, received a call around nine in the morning to say that there had been a collision between two cars and a motorbike.

An ambulance was despatched together with the Policía Local to handle the rush-hour traffic congestion caused by the road incident.

According to medical sources, three people were injured, one of whom, a 67-year-old woman, was seriously injured. All the victims were taken directly to Hospital Santa Ana.
