Direct Granada-Valencia Flights?

The Heads of the Provincial Councils of Granada and Valencia, had a meeting on Thursday in Valencia about working together to promote their provinces.

The Head of the Granada Provincial Council, Francis Rodríguez discussed with his counterpart, Vicent Mompó the possibility of establishing regular, direct flights between the two airports, which would help tourism at both ends.

Both provincial institutions agreed that boosting a possible, air connection is “a key tool for increasing tourist flows, facilitating short getaways, stimulating economic activity, and strengthening cultural and social ties between the territories.”

The Granada Chairman is hoping that such a connection would boost Sierra Nevada tourism: “Sierra Nevada represents a first-class tourist attraction for the Valencian visitor. We have one of the most important ski resorts in southern Europe, which we would now bring closer with a direct flight” he concluded.
