Somebody was injured after falling from a 3rd-storey window down into an inner-patio shaft in Motril

The incident occurred on Calle Rubén Darío yesterday morning – the emergency coordination centre, 112, received a call around 11.00h.. 

The centre despatched the Motril Fire Department, the Policía Nacional, the Policía Local and an ambulance from Hospital Santa Ana.

Fire personnel managed to gain entrance to the inner patio via a window opposite where the victim had come to rest on an awning.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Hospital Santa Ana.
