The Policía Nacional in Motril have made 27 arrests for allegedly facilitating illegal immigration and Seguridad-Social fraud.

This came after four night-club premises were raided, habitually frequented by Colombians as part of the police operation, Bogotá.

A total of 74 people were identified in the raids, amongst whom were the 27 arrested persons, suspected of contravening La ley de Extranjería. The police also initiated fines related to Seguridad-Social fraud.

The investigation was launched after receiving complaints for resident against these night bars, concerning possible drug peddling.
