The Ministerio de Transportes has put out to tender the construction of a roundabout on the roads leading down to the Moriscos Golf Course and Ron Montero from the N-340 junction.

This road is technically the N-323 reaching down to Motril Port, as an alternative to the old port road from the centre of Motril straight down past where the Fire Station stands.

The roundabout, which will do away with the dangerous T-junction, has a budget of 551,428 euros. This T-junction has the inconvenience of being in accessible coming up from Ron Montero on the Carreterra de la Celulosa, as there is an unbroken white line, forcing drivers to continue on and do a 360º manoeuvre around the roundabout under the N-340.
