There's a new type of scam in towns in the metropolitan area of Granada, where the scammer poses as a sales rep.
The scammer goes door-to-door, posing as a household-goods salesperson or as a financial institution rep.

Once the victims’ trust is gained, the scammer gets them to sign contracts for the purchase of products they will never end up receiving, or to take out new loans under the pretext of paying off previous ones.
The scammer leads them to believe the new loans are more advantageous and even offers gifts for taking out these new loans.
In these cases, another scam occurs: to obtain these gifts, the scammer asks the victims to swipe their bank card through a card reader so that the transaction is registered in their name, and then again to supposedly refund the amount paid, which is never actually refunded.
Editorial comment: OK, two points, you have to be stupid to fall for either and secondly, they haven’t made their way down to the coast yet, but just in case they do, it’s time to demonstrate that your IQ is above double digits.
