First of all, calima is on its way from North Africa and will affect most of the province of Granada, hopefully not a lot.
The instability of the weather is down to a low-pressure front coming in from the West. The outer part of its rotation will whip across the Sahara Desert, fill its boots with sand & dus,t ready to dump it on Andalucía, starting today.

It will bring with it the return of higher temperatures (Granada city can expect temperatures of 30ºC) and rain later in the week. The calima will culminate on Thursday with temperature inland hugging 30ºC.
Then come the rains Friday morning lasting into the night which will wash down the haze onto your house, pool and car. Higher temperatures midweek than you would expect in spring rather than the tail end of autumn will drop by about 10 degrees..
Rains will continue into Saturday and Sunday… but without the North African dust.
Returning to this morning, at 08.00h coastal temperatues will be between 14-16ºC and inland 11-12ºC. Wednesday will see highs of 28ºC and lows of 14ºC on the coast and highs of 26-27ºC and 13-14ºc in the Valle de Lecrín. Thursday with highs of 28-30ºC and lows of 18-19ºC on the coast, while inland the highs will be 26-27ºC and lows of 15ºC.
Temperatures will drop by about five degrees on Friday. Saturday coastal highs will be 23-24ºC and lows of 14-15ºC whilst inland highs will be 18ºC, this lows of 9ºC. Sunday will be much the same as Saturday.
As for rain… Friday’s the day with the weekend having a lower probability of precipitation of around 50%
