Orange-Zone Parking?

From the 1st of July until the 31st of August the orange lines along Almuñécar and La Herradura seafront paseos will be in force.

Councillor for Traffic, Luis Aragón, explained, “This system continues as in previous summers during mornings from 11.00h to 15.00h and then in the afternoon from 19.00 to 22.00h, which a maximum stay of three hours per vehicle.”

People who buy a parking ticket also have to enter their car registration. The Town Hall says that this is to have greater control but many consider that it is just a way of stopping somebody handing, free of charge, their ticket to another driver, if they are leaving and the time on the ticket has not expired.
