Starting at the beginning of this week at 09.00h the fortnight-parking switch took place.

Doesn’t ring a bell? It’s for those streets where you can only park down one side during the first 15 days of the month, and then on the other side for the remaining 15 days.

This is a typical arrangement along the back streets of Motril, for example and the failure to adhere to this parking arrangement could get you a parking fine and/or you car towed away.

You squeeze your car into a line of parked cars down one side of the street and the next morning, everybody’s parked on the opposite side and your car is ‘missing in action.’ Look at the small print on the parking sign!
