Starting tomorrow the warm and sunny weather will be replaced by clouds, strong winds, showers and even some calima in Western Andalucia.
During the early hours of Friday, rains will probably last most of the day in the west of Andalucía, bringing with it suspended dust and sand from North Africa.

As for the weekend, the instability will continue into Saturday with rains becoming heavier, accompanied by strong winds, also finally affecting this end of Andalucía, which means we can expect a little calima.
Along the Costa Tropical from midnight Wednesday till dawn, temperatures will be around 18ºC, whilst in the Valle de Lecrín it will be between 14ºC and 15ºC during this period. So, mosquitoes on the coast but still none up here.
The rest of the day, both the coast and the Valley, will be around the same temperatures; 18ºC to 20ºC. By Saturday temperatures will have dropped a little on the coast and inland.
Although the general forecast for the region (Andalucía) predicts rain and calima in the west, in Granada, we won’t see much rain; brown or otherwise. Anyway, there will be a more accurate forecast as the weekend approaches…. Stay tuned!
