The Policía Nacional in the city of Málaga had cause to arrest the same man three times in two weeks for sexually molesting women on the streets.

As a consequence of two of those arrests, he was brought before a police court, but the judge released him pending a medical report on his mental health.

All of these incidences occurred in March within the space of a fortnight. The first when he grabbed a woman’s buttocks as she was walking hand-in-hand with her partner. He fled and both the woman and her boyfriend pursued him to a bar where he had taken refuge. Despite his uttering obscenities, they phoned the police rather than confront him. 

Six days later, he did it again, but against a female shop assistant who was waiting for the premises to open. He approached and fondled her breasts but desisted when a fellow worker approached. A police patrol car was passing by so they waved it down and the officers arrested him again.

Within a couple of days, he had been released and he went straight back to his old ways. It was around six one morning that a patrol car was called to Calle Larios where a group of women were fending him off. He had approached them and everything was friendly until he started humming Franco-Regime hymns and went for the breasts of one of the group. The 65-year-old culprit was arrested… again.

Sources at the Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Andalucía (TSJA) explained that he was being investigated for three cases of sexual assault and that he had been released to be sent to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation. When the judge receives the results, then it will be decided whether to commit him to a mental institution or not.

But the city of Málaga seems to be alive with gropers because a 50-year-old man was arrested groping the breasts of a woman who was dancing in a restaurant… This caused a fight and the police were called out.

A 46-year-old man was arrested for grabbing a woman’s buttocks in front of other customers in a fast-food restaurant. He also tried to kiss her on the lips. Other customers threw him off the premises and detained him on the street until the police arrived.

Lastly, two individuals aged 18 from Norway were arrested for groping the buttocks of both a mother and daughter at a party.
