There has been an important health warning issued by the Agencia Española de Seguridad Alimentaria y Nutrición that affects a popular brand of dark chocolate, sold around the world.

The Spanish health agency was tipped off by the European-wide, Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) as the Dutch health authorities had detected pieces of stone in the black-chocolate & almond variety of Tony’s Chocolonely.

It appears that some might have been distributed in Spain, hence the Spanish alert.

It is recommended that people who may have the product at home should not consume it to be on the safe side.

Death by Chocolate comes to mind? Rumour has it that a bar of Tony’s fell on top of a parked car in Jete recently… just saying!
