The average price per square metre in the province is 1,471 euros, which pretty much puts buying a house out of the range of many young couples.

However, there are towns within the province where it is much cheaper: Pinos Puente, for example where the average price per square metre is 488 euros. Compare that with the city of Granada where it is 2,293 euros per sq/m and you can see the vast difference.

So, working on that price-per-square metre a dwelling with 100 sq/m floor space in Pinos Puente might cost you around 50,000 euros. Of course, like all towns, it depends in which part of the town the dwelling is and what state it’s in.
