If you run a bar, you’ve got to expect some trouble along the way; a runner or a bit of bolshiness, but one customer in a bar in Zaidín took the biscuit.

In a short space of time, one custsomer refused to pay, molested a teenage girl, hit her boyfriend, wrecked the bar and head butted a policeman.

It all started a little before 17.30h one day when Mr Nasty started a heated argument with another customer, whom he ended up grabbing by the throat before throwing him to the floor… and from there it all went downhill.

No longer content with arguing with just one person, he decided to berate everybody in the bar; staff and fellow customers, which is when he decided to go and talk to the 16-year-old girl.

Being suave and debonair, he whipped out a 5-euro note and offered it as payment up front for having sex with him. Despite his eloquent charm, she declined the invitation, so he literally jumped on her and fondled her buttocks and breasts, and called her a whore for good measure.

At this point he flew into a rage, picked up the toy-ball dispensing machine and launched it at a window. Inspired, he then literally managed to kick the door partly off its hinges. Watching the display of physical prowess, the teenage boyfriend of the girl, you would think would pretend he didn’t know her but, made of sterner stuff, he rebuked the aggressor for his lamentable attitude.

For his efforts, the lunatic spat in his face, insulted him roundly and hit him in the face with an ashtray – another demonstration of how smoking is bad for you.

Enter the 7th Cavalry in the form of the Policía Local who quickly noted the damage and those inflicted. They first questioned those present about what the hell had happened to the bar before approaching the irritated gentleman who continued to sup his drink in silence. One officer told him to relax and put the glass down, which actually has the polar-opposite meaning for a lunatic on a rampage. The aggressor jumped into action again, pouncing on the first officer. His fellow officer came to his aid only to get nutted.

They eventually subdued him and got him into handcuffs and into the patrol car. He has been charged with bodily harm, sexual aggression, assaulting a police officer, and damaging private property. 

Those customers that had been injured during this stimulating episode were treated at the nearest medical centre.
